The new 2.1 million-square-foot Parkland Acute Care Hospital, located on the northeast corner of Harry Hines Boulevard and Medical District Drive, was designed to meet the ever-changing needs of Dallas County patients. At nearly twice the size of the current hospital new Parkland incorporates: 862 single-patient rooms with private bathrooms, space for families and visitors, natural light to promote a healing environment, a wellness garden and other unique nature inspired design features.
