What is INDEX?

INDEX stands for Industry Exhibition. This event used to be UTSA tradition and they have graciously agreed to open this event up to all SA area students. Index is an event that allows Industry Reps to visit with students, showcase their products and educate them about their materials and resources. Essentially it is a mini-trade show. The profits from this event help students to afford to be able to attend conferences and other trade shows.

I am a student, why should I attend?

Come join us for this year’s IIDA Imagine That launch party and view the exciting products in our exhibition. This will be a great chance for you to get to know your local reps, their services and their newest products and materials. Students and Professionals will have the opportunity to mingle during the exhibition and students will also be able to participate in mock interview and portfolio review sessions.You don't want to miss this!

I am a design professional, why should I attend and volunteer?

This is your chance to give back to future interior designer AND is an event that will allow you to learn about new product lines, resources and materials. You should attend because this is your chance for you to mingle with local reps..***hint..hint...you might get invited to the Imagine That on 05.20.16 by a rep that is showcasing their lines. You don't want to miss this chance!!

I am a local industry rep, why should I attend?

IIDA Index will be a great opportunity for you to showcase your product lines while socializing with local designers and students. Also, this would be a time for you to encourage designers to specify your products and also invite them to the IIDA Imagine That on 05.20.16. You don't want to miss this chance!!

Is it true, that IIDA would be taking headshots during this event?
